Amanda FosterAmanda Foster  |  Assistant Coach

Amanda Fosters enters her sixth year as an assistant coach to the women's basketball program.  Before arriving to Oxy, Amanda Foster has spent the last seven basketball seasons as an assistant coach for the girl’s varsity team at her alma mater Marshall High School in Los Feliz.

"Amanda brings great energy and presence and while specifically focusing on post player development" Oxy head coach Anahit Aladzhanyan said.

Foster graduated from Long Beach State University in 2009 with a degree in Child Development and Family Studies. Continuing to follow her passion for children, she is finishing her 5th school year at a private preschool in Santa Clarita while obtaining a Master’s Degree in Child Development.

As a player, Amanda holds scoring, rebounding, and blocked shot records, in addition to recently being inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Marshall High School. After receiving an athletic scholarship to play basketball at LBSU, Foster’s promising career was cut short due to knee injuries.

Dedicated to give back to her own community in working with children and athletes, Foster is no stranger to OXY. She has attended many of woman’s basketball games, first in support of her high school teammate and head coach, Anahit, and then in support of her twin sister Lauren who was an assistant coach during the 2013/2014 campaign.  Foster has also worked for Brian Newhall, the men's basketball coach, as a camp coach in his program over the last several years.

Isaiah FlowersIsaiah Flowers  |  Assistant Coach

Isaiah Flowers enters his second year as an assistant coach to the Women’s basketball program. Before arriving at Oxy, Isaiah spent the last five years with the University of Oklahoma Women’s Basketball program where he worked for Sherri Coale, Coquese Washington, and Jackie Stiles.  He served as a graduate assistant for the past two years after serving as the program's Head Student Manager for three seasons. As a graduate assistant he was in charge of operational tasks, assisting the defense coordinator, creating scouting reports, and helping with guard development.  He has extensive video and film breakdown experience - an area he was in charge of on a daily basis.

"We are excited to welcome Isaiah to our Tiger family.  His passion for the game, and women's basketball specifically, really stood out.  He will undoubtedly bring a ton to our program and the Occidental community," said Oxy head coach Anahit Aladzhanyan.

Isaiah graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Human Relations and a minor in African and African American studies. He then went on to obtain his Masters degree in Education with a focus on Intercollegiate Athletic Administration.
